Mom and Baby Bonding yoga is a fun, rejuvenating class that combines postnatal yoga, baby yoga, and infant massage. In this class, you will have an opportunity to bond with your baby and nurture your postpartum body.
In the yoga practice, we'll focus on strengthening and toning your pelvic and abdominal muscles, relieve neck and shoulder tension, and restore physically and emotionally from the challenges of parenting an infant. In addition, you'll connect with other moms of infants to build your community while doing yoga with your baby. Babies participate with moms throughout the class, enjoying age-appropriate stimulation exercises, as well as being integrated into the asana practice. Each class includes infant massage as a way to enhance bonding and to stimulate babies’ growth and development and ends with restorative yoga poses for mom.
Practicing yoga at home with your baby will increase your baby’s enjoyment and learning. Home practices created for each group will be shared throughout the series.
